But before our company is buying the product, I have to know if there is a workaround to the problems I have encountered. Our company is located in Norway, and most our customers are Norwegian. To be located in Norway includes the use of the three extra characters we have. The html-entitity equivalents of these caharacters are (UPPER/lower case) : Ø / ø Æ / æ Å / åWhen I use these characters in my database, there is a problem searching for them.It looks as if WebCatalog search for a match of the ISO-latin1 equivalent of the characters typed into a form. This is causing WebCatalog to not recognize the Norwegian characters in a database in Mac-character format.I did a workaround on this by translating the file into ISOlatin1. This solved the problem when it came to same case matching, but WebCatalog is obviously not aware what the corresponding upper/lower case of the norwegian characters are.Any ideas on what may solve my problem? I am really determined to buy WebCatalog if I could solve this problem, but this is very limiting to the application of WebCatalog with this language, so I might have to look somewhere else.Sincerely, Per Christian Lied Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
