texte = Greetings,We have been using this technique and I figure some of you might be able touse this:You can get webcat to do some processing from any webpage regardless ofwhat server it is running on. Here's how:1. Set up your tpl page and determine what kind of processing you need(i.e. logging, random image, createfolder, increment counter, etc.).2. Add this to any html page:
![]()
3. On your 'yourFile.tpl' do your processing first and then return viareturnraw an image, preferbly a one pixel transparent gif so the page thatit is added is not affected. Here is an example.yourFile.tpl===[appendfile [date %m]-[date %y].log][ipaddress] [time] [date][/appendfile][sendmail to=olin@worldpoint.com&from=sneaky@worldpoint.com&subject=Some onvisited my secret page]Page visit.Date: [date]Time : [time]IP Address: [ipaddress]Browser: [browsername]Referrer: [referrer][/sendmail][returnraw]HTTP/1.0 302 FoundLocation: cleardot.gif[/returnraw]===We use this technique to get webcat to work with static html pages onremote servers, asp, and other kinds of web stuff. This would be a greatway to set up a random banner program where instead of the clear gif, youreturn a random banner...sortta like link exchange...though you canconditionaly control the output in creative ways ;)Aloha, Olin----------------------------------------------------------------WORLDPOINTOlin Kealoha LagonDirector, Special ProjectsManoa Innovation Center2800 Woodlawn Drive, Suite 170Honolulu, HI 96822Telephone (808)539-3939Fax (808)539-3943Direct (808)539-3932
