To check the effectiveness of the plug-in, select the BIAP W*API Patch command from the server's plug-ins menu. This will open up a status window for the plug-in describing the number of times that the patch was activated, and the number of times that it saved your bacon (i.e., intervened to prevent a potential crash). The same information will be written to the server's status screen.NOTE: Every time the BIAP W*API Patch says that it saved your bacon, it has intervened to prevent one of several serious errors that could have caused a server crash, such as memory corruption, network lockup, etc. Although not all errors actually cause crashes, preventing errors is a good idea.
