texte = Hi all,One of the features of my current search is that it sorts first by featured result, and then gives a listing of remaining results alphabetically. I do this in the following way: In my database, featured results have a field of Sorting which is set to A if featured, and B if not featured. Then when WebCat does it's query, I tell it to sort first by Sorting and second by Name. This has been working, typically, with one glitch. When I have two results that have the same name, it groups the featured and non-featured result together. At least, that's what I'm assuming is happening...the anomoly only happens when searching for items with similar or exactly similar names.Any idea how to work around this?An example can be found by going to: http://www.foodspot.com/search and searching for Mel's Diner ... The exact search string I use is as follows: [search db=../foodspot.db&eqmultihomedatarq=No&group1field=name+name2&wogroup1datarq=[ur l][name]&group2field=city2+zip+region&group2word=ww&wsgroup2datarq=[c ity]&eqIAmARestaurantdatarq=restaurant&Sortingsort=1&Sortingsdir=as&Nameso rt=2&Namesdir=as&max=25&startat=[startat]]Thanks --ChrisChristopher Feyrer System Administrator FoodSpot.com chris@foodspot.com ------------------- PGP 6.x key available.------------------------------------------------------------- Brought to you by CommuniGate Pro - The Buzz Word Compliant Messaging Server.
