One database holds the stories/articles for the editors to create and edit. Using forms they can then publish the story. When the story is published we use a [writefile] to create the article pages and an [append] to what I call a table of contents database. This database holds the title, file location, abstract, search keywords etc. So the normal web surfer would be working with this smaller TOC database.
