Webstar will require more ram on the first search from what I understand. The database is actually just a text file and the ram is required by the software reading or serving the file. When I had the 180,000 entries in FileMaker is was very very slow and I exported the data to my webstar server and I do quick searches and sorts of the data online much faster than having FilMaker do the work. I'm sure everything has a limit and I can only tell by what I've actually done and also not knowing how big of a file you want to create.
