[convertChars] and in a textarea on a form

texte = I've seen a few posts regarding [ConvertChars] in the archives, but . . . .I'm having a heck of a time getting dimensions ( 5'11 ) to show up in a

form element in an editing/approval screen.The data is written fine to the database at entry, it appears fine in aparagraph as part of a search result, but I cannot get it to appear in aform element. Everything gets truncated after the      in 5'11    but onlyin whats visible in the form. The data is still in the database and when Iupdate or approve the content, the    is stripped outta the database.I've tried a variety of ways to use [convertchars] all to no avail.Should I be using [convertchars] everywhere?My main concern now is feet and inches. inches (    )  are causing meproblems.I need to have someone approve a post which was submitted, edit if needed,and then have it available via a search. I'm achieving this through a numberof review pages, with the final being written back to the database.This is for a classifieds type of project. I've looked at the ClassifiedSample with WebCatalog, and it works fine there, but I can't follow why itworks.Any insight into this puzzling scenario would be appreciated.Thanks.Richardrichard@gravesource.com
