One possibility that I'm hunting down as for the quitting unexpectedly problem is that I added a Flash animation to several pages on my site and immediately started seeing Webstar quit unexpectedly. I noticed that the javascript added by Aftershock contains quite a few [] pairs and I'm wondering if this is somehow causing Webcat to bugger out. I tried to circumvent this possibility by taking the Aftershock code out of the template and including it without DNA interpretation using [include aftershock.html&raw=T] as noted in a previous email to this list, but I can't get that function to work. As for the serial number problem, I can't use this software if I have to reboot the machine and re-enter my serial number every time webstar/webcat quits. I locked the webcatalog.prefs file but the symptoms haven't changed. [anecdotal irony]I once employed a full time tech guy to stand in front of a rack of Quadra 950's and reboot them as they froze up. Our server software (Resnova Novaserver) crashed each time it imported message forums and at any given moment, at least one of the computers was frozen.
