texte = Hi everyone,I am just starting to get into this new project and before I get too far I wanted to see if anyone has tried to do what I am trying to do and has any thoughts or advice. The site breaks down into three *main* areas. The initial page has standard links like this: S_NAME is the Section Name and PNum is the starting page number. I am attempting to use one default.tpl and have the rest built from .inc files and database searches. For example if you chose the link above, default.tpl would use the additional params. in the link to detrmine the art in the navigator bar and also the main body of the page using a .db search for the art and [include [S_Name][PNum].inc] for the body of the page. The [S_Name][PNum].inc contains a form which will begin a process I would love to use for the whole site. With each search I want to return default.tpl and use [S_NAME][PNum] to build the next form, again with the [include [S_NAME][PNum].inc]. Each new page is a form that gets you closer and closer to your final results list. So each form will have a hidden field with the correct next [PNum]. Kind of like a recursive website. The client doesn't want to use frames, so this is kind of like using frames without the frames. I have no idea if this makes sense, but I would love some feedback on this idea.- Charles_______________________________________________________________ Charles Kline ckline@macsultants.com MacSultants Professional Solutions for Computer SystemsPhone# 609-273-3255 Fax# 609-273-3721 Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
