Yes, I understood this from the beginning (regarding options). While I agree that it would be complicated & time consuming in greatdegrees to write and replicate the functionality, I hope my point was clear. With a purchase price of 3,400+ for the package, and an upgrade price of$900 from the 2.x version, the concept of this extended pricing to bypassprogrammed in limitations, thus allowing parallel directory use of the sametemplates is still unacceptable. Let me say that I am very aware of the concept that I or anyone can feelfree to write whatever templates we wish to replicate or expand upon stuffthat Pacific Coast sells. This does not change the fact that there is, andshould be, certain expectations of what is delivered with the productunhindered. Personally, I haven't had much trouble with the manual. I prefera syntax only layout (much like the Director Lingo Dictionary). I would havetaken the same exception long ago if I was ever faced with a limitingversion of WebCat that allows 25 databases open for one serial number, andan additional 25 for more money and so on. I don't think anyone here would argue that a pricing scheme for acertain number of open databases would be offensive to many people, which ispractically what we are talking about with the WebMerchant pay by the storescenario. So I guess I am just back into my system of building systems to bypassthe limitation and unfortunate pricing scheme. Lastly, the points I bring up here regarding this are selfishlymotivated. I wish to see PC thrive and not lose customers (or potential)customers over and over. I am gambling that they will be around for a whilethus supporting themselves and supporting the tremendous investment we havemade using their software. Alexander J.
