We've really liked working with WebCat so far, but have some questions/concerns (some of which have been touched on in previous postings to this list) regarding performance and development issues.First, we currently use Tango and an SQL server for some of our ecommerce related database functions. We are considering rewriting the searches and catalogs on our largest site in WebCat and also rewriting about fifty satellite sites. The idea is to have them all interrelated. None of that should be a problem. The question is, can WebCat handle the traffic (200,000 plus search requests per month). Secondly, and this is for anyone who can provide a comparative experience--is the development interface provided by Tango a timesaver over development in WebCat?I guess the overriding question here is--what can Tango, Cold Fusion, and ASP do that WebCat can't?
