texte = I recently set up a catalog using the TeaRoom example. A user has given mesome feedback that it is not as good as the old catalog that it replaced(written in perl, but not by me!). I need to get some feedback on what isgood catalog design so that I can decide whether or not to incorporatethese suggestions. Here are the differences:1. New catalog (like TeaRoom) You select an item by clicking on add to cart. This selectionsends you to the shopping cart page. To get more items, you click on moreshopping and go back to the catalog. Each item selected causes the shopper to go the shopping cart page. Old catalog You can click on several items within a category to choose them andthen choose a button to go to the shopping cart. All selected items are addedat once to the shopping cart. You can go back to that category or other categoriesto continue shopping.2. New catalog All items are selected and then you enter the quantity informationbefore going to the invoice page. Old catalog You select an item and fill in the quantity in the catalog page. This value is carried to the shopping cart and can be changed in the shoppingcart.I was quite satisfied with the way the Tearoom example works, but I need tolisten to users and make changes if their suggestions will really improvethe functionality of the catalog. Are these good ideas? Can anyone give mesome tips on how to implement such changes? Thanks in advance.Lani
