Question regarding security. Concept: Orders are taken by visitors through SSL encryption (https) If the server that runs the Webserver also has the mailsever & dns onthe same machine (lets say Eims 2.x & QuickDNS), then if you deliver _all_cc# information to an email with an account on the local domain, that emaildoes not get sent across the net. In fact, doesn't it communicate locallyonly between Emailer & Eims on the same machine? So if this is true, QuickDNS Eims WebCat/Emailer Customer buys and CC # is delivered to 'local' email account (oneusing a local domain) And the vendor picks up the number through a direct pop connectionto that account. Then the only security issue that remains is someone packet sniffingwhile they connect via pop to get the email. SInce the email never getsbounced around the net from mail server to mail server, isn't this lastremaining risk extremely low?Just thinking out loud...sorryalex--Alexander J.
