But under OS8 and webstar 4.0 and what I think is 3.0.5b5 or b7 (it is on a remote site and I can call over there and have somebody check the old plug-in ver number if needed) I got a throw every now and then. Maybe 4 a month. I got 15 in less then 12 hours since I changed out.Webstar running data cache, ssi, admin and virtual hosts plugins only besides wwebcat. Cut the data cache file size down from 32K to 16K and moved the slider givng processor power from full webstar to the middle (that should not effected this since I am using the plug-in) and turned logging off (less disk accesses) and it droped to like 6 over night. They come in swarms. Server gets around 10 to 12 thousand hits an hour and very very webcat intensive on generating pages on the fly. Meaning lots of searches going on. Same data base is always the one that deadlocks and hit has about 25 to 30 thousand replaces in a day. (yes it is special counter that tracks how often just certain pages are viewed).Anybody else seeing an increase in dead lock throws with the newest Mac plug-in.If I went backwards in plug-ins to what I was running under 4.0. Any issues with webstar 4.1 betas or OS9 I should be made aware of? =============================================== Gary Richter PanaVise Products, Inc. 7540 Colbert Dr. Reno, Nevada 89511 Ph: 775.850.2900 Fx: 775.850.2929 Email: grichter@panavise.com http://www.panavise.com ===============================================############################################################# This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
