We are running at about 35% of our processor. The big question is what do you mean by hits? What is a hit likely to do? Once you have your application completed then you will need to load test it to see how much room you have.I haven't seen all the detail on win2000 yet, but as scalable as win2000 is, that will be as scalable as your application is. If your looking for multiple machine processing then you will have to look elsewhere, webcat isn't that sophisticated yet. How bout it Smith Micro?I have redesigned pages that went from 120 ticks to process, down to 10 ticks. This of course has a huge affect on the processors ability to do more work.If your application is simple then you have plenty of headroom, if your application is complex then you will have less. Just for reference our application is very complex so the load is intensive.
