numero = 26338
interpreted = N
texte = This is very easy to do.The method that woks for me is to have a db with two fields in it. The first is just for something to search. I always call it AAA and fill the field with AAA. The second field is your number. Start it at whatever you want. 000001Once you have the db, all you have to do is lookup AAA and get the number and then add 1 to it. Then you replace the old number 000001 with the new number 000002.D. -- David Bastedo New Media AuthorMacLaren McCann Interactive david.bastedo@maclaren.com 416.594.6779http://www.maclareninteractive.com/ > From: Scott Nelsen > Date: Fri, 21 Jan 2000 13:35:57 > To: WebDNA-Talk@talk.smithmicro.com > Subject: generate sequential numbers > > > > I posted this about a month back but got no replies.
