texte = Well, if you are going to name your files in a simplistic fashion like that, yes, you are probably going to get taken. Why are you not using WebMerchant'sWeb Delivery feature. This stores the actual files outside of the normaldirectories; when a purchase takes place, the file is copied to a deliverydirectory, with a random filename, and prints the URL to download the file onthe download page. The copy is then purged after 24 hours. This isspecifically designed for your needs. Anyway... what I had originally intended with this thread was a wayto protect content from being manually taken. For example I have a directory/greatmusic/ and protect the index.tpl page there usingWebCat' spage protection. Fine. Wouldn't a more cunning user simpy be able tomanually enter ./greatmusic/1.mp3, ./greatmusic/2.mp3 thereby bypassing anyattempts I make to guard that music from being downloadedwithout paying for it?? Aside from setting up an apache realm type of thing isthere a better way to protect from manually entered URLs? Forgive me if there isan obvious answer here.. still pretty new to this.
