numero = 26880

texte = Ah, but this is not exactly what the MGI module allows (which I honestly have not used). You are hiding the location of an include file, which doesn't really matter since the user _never_ sees the include file seperately from the main file. If you include graphics in the include file, all of the links are plaintext; they have to be because the web server is serving them up. You are obfuscating the command line parameter's actual meaning, nothing more. This certainly would work to keep users from accessing your text files, etc, except through your own interface. Users would not be able to root around your directory structure downloading everything.With MGI's EncryptURL tag, the file that is encrypted is served up by the MGI engine itself, not the web server, so the actual file location is never visible. When the encrypted URL points to a file that can be downloaded or a JPG/TIFF/etc graphics file, the MGI addin streams it directly to the browser, without requiring the webserver to mediate in any way. This is a truly neat feature that I could definitely see some use out of, were I in the business of selling images or software. However, WebCat's web delivery method, with randomly chosen filenames in a neutral location are just as effective in keeping the actual file directory structure hidden. It all depends on how you want to do your site. However, there is no way to have WebCat serve up hidden graphics files by itself, since it will choke on binary data.John Peacock ____________________Reply Separator____________________ Subject: Re: Encrypted links ...
