I wasn't running both smtp servers at the same time. The default unix sendmail was not running at all. I'm saying that CGatePro uses it's own sendmail that it seems to dynamically load and use as needed and is _not_ in a normal unix path. The problem with WebCat was most likely a path problem where [sendmail] was trying to call default unix sendmail in /usr/sbin etc. (which wasn't running) and that [sendmail] had no way of calling the CGatePro sendmail process (especially when it's unloaded) so no email was sent. Having no way of changing the default path where WebCat [sendmail] looks I had no solution. Of course I may be wrong on any of these points, but I guess I'm just trying to say that I'm not _so_ newbie that I'd try to run two smtp processes on the same machine. ;) -- Parker Content Director Zero Echo Inc. http://zeroecho.net ------------------------------------------------------------- Brought to you by CommuniGate Pro - The Buzz Word Compliant Messaging Server.
