There is a lot of code that would break if they renamed the tags. There IS something we can do now AND something that SM could do to ease the pain.We as users should start coding all db field names with a 2 character prefix. dbPrice or myPrice would solve the problem. The database generator and examples could be changed to promote this standard.Even better, SM could do a lookup on a 'reserved word database' when they open user databases for each field in the header. If a db field has the same name as a reserved word, kick out an error message. Make this an option and default it to ON for development, then the savvy could turn it off for production databases for less overhead. Do the same for the [text] tag and the [math] tag and you have solved the problem. This would save a lot of newbies a lot of debugging time (it would have helped me a lot! I have been caught several times now).SM, please consider this an enhancement request! :) -Chuck-__________________________________________________________________________ Chuck Rice ------------------------------------------------------------- Brought to you by CommuniGate Pro - The Buzz Word Compliant Messaging Server.
