texte = I missed your original post, so my bit of code may be somewhat useless. . .sorry about that. I've never had any problems using a showif within a lineitems context. Have you tried this with an inherently true statement? For example [showif 1=1]. If that resolves and your [showif [texta]=whatever] doesn't, there may be some unwanted spaces or invisible characters at the end or beginning of your name strings. Check your database in an editor that displays invisibles, and check your orderfile to assure that [texta] is in fact properly set. You should also make sure your [lineitems] context is nested within an [orderfile] context that refers to the correct cart location.
