texte = The SKU is a _unique_ identifier, not only in your main database, but also in the cart file. You must have two different SKU's if you want to have two different styles of the same thing in your cart. You could use SKU=[SKU][COLOR][SIZE] in the cart, so you could display all records. You will not get anywhere trying to alter the cart file on disk, because WebCat will still have a RAM resident copy. Once you make sure the cart SKU is unique again, you will not have these problems.HTHJohn Peacock ____________________Reply Separator____________________ Subject: Re: showcart Author: (WebCatalog Talk) Date: 4/4/00 3:19 PMhi people i have this problem with showcart: when i set a lineitem in the shoppimg cart tpl and then go back to choose different type of the SAME SKU (like color or size) then use the command: add its changing the caracteristics of the lineitem that's already in the cart db with the newly selected ones. So i'm getting the SAME SKU with the same caracteristics twice (which i don't want - i want two items with the SAME SKU with DIFFERENT caracteristics). What i tryed is to manualy alter the cart db and then use only showcart command but even in this case where the values in the cart db a different (i' m closing and opening the cart db just to check - the values there are different for the same sku) the showcart command shows me the same values for both lineitems with the same SKU. I tryed [addlineitem] and it showing me 100 items in my shopping cart every time?! Question 1:Is there a way to setlineitems with the same sku but different caracteristics? Question 2:Why showcart is not showing the cart (even manualy altered)? Thank you. ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
