texte = If you alter your Price formula in Formulas.db to account for the different sizes and colors, you can store the actual price in the Price field and WebCat will calculate the [subtotal] for you.For example, in Formulas.dbPrice [ShowIf [color]=RED][Math][myprice]*2[/math][/ShowIf] [ShowIf [Size]=XXXL][Math][myprice]*2[/math][/ShowIf]etc., where there is a single tab between Price and the formula and the entire formula appears on a single line. I would recommend working this out in a template first, then replacing the formula. You can even use [LookUp] in the formula to get data from other tables.HTHJohn Peacock ____________________Reply Separator____________________ Subject: [subtotal] Author: (WebCatalog Talk) Date: 4/6/2000 5:05 PMhi all, i'm trying to make the cart calculate the [subtotal] where i'd like to determine the [price]. Since i have different prices for the same products based on sizes and colors i have to use different tag then [price]. I did looked at the reference and there it says that i have to override both nonTaxableTotal and taxableTotal in order to make the subTotal tag to calculate all the new prices i have in the cart. I saw one posting in the PCS talk from 1999/04/07 with subject: [subtotal] and [grandtotal] erreor, but there wasn't any follow up. So i was wondering how can i override both taxableTotal and nontaxableTotal in order to make this work. Help please. Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
