We had scattered weird problems which turned out to be related to the extreme sensitivity of the Sparc box to power fluctuations. This was on a standard UPS (APC BackUPS); once we upgraded to a smart UPS (and threatened the user with bodily harm if she ever turned on a space heater anywhere near the server again ;) and the problems went away. You might try an upgraded UPS ( the APC SmartUPS series are nice and come with software to control Solaris shutdown automatically ).John Peacock____________________Reply Separator____________________ Subject: Re: Re[2]: WebCatalog keeps quiting on Solaris, and support Author: (WebCatalog Talk) Date: 4/26/2000 9:01 AMJohn,I have reinstalled it about 4 times (each on two different servers), I only enabled triggers last week in an attempt to keep it running.
