One thing you need to remember is that WebCat (and the webserver) run as the System user (or IUSR_MACHINE) as a default, and this user typically has no rights except to the current machine. If you are using IIS, and you have Run in user context configured to use the IUSR_MACHINE account, you can try and give that user login access to the other machine. You also need to remember that you logged into the workstation and added the drive map to your profile, not the profile of the system service that is running WebCat.You can also play with IIS virtual directory feature and add a map to a directory on another machine. I have not played with IIS enough to give you much help there. You still need to make sure that the user has rights to the files in that directory.John PeacockNicolas Verhaeghe wrote: > > I need to access a directory on the network, outside of my machine. > > I tried just about EVERYTHING: > > [listfiles //NAME_OF_THE_MACHINE/] > [listfiles I:/] (After mapping the other machine to I: > [listfiles ../../../../../../../../ (...) ] seems to stop at the root. > > Any solution? > > THanks a lot! > > ------------------------------------------------------------- > This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to > the mailing list . > To unsubscribe, E-mail to: > To switch to the DIGEST mode, E-mail to > Web Archive of this list is at: http://search.smithmicro.com/------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
