I don't use a cgi-bin directory so the install placed both the webcatalog and webcatalogengine directories at the server root. After much experimentation I discovered that the webcatalogengine directory absolutely _has_ to be in a directory named cgi-bin or Webstar will crash. Once I created the directory and moved the webcatalogengine directory into it, the server started up without error. Even after setting the Web Server Folder preference to ../ I am unable to move the webcatalogengine directory out of the cgi-bin directory. Will this be the default behavior in 4.0? Will we not be able to move the webcatalogengine directory?Mike> Still no luck, I've tried all the combinations possible including the ones > you mention. > > When I remove the WebCat plug-in WebTen starts up no problem, but with the > plug-in in place the same thing happens every time. > > Any more ideas? > > Paul ############################################################# This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
