It keeps the original formatting.
numero = 32947
interpreted = N
texte = Try changing ticks to 0 and see what happens. If it works then WebCat should send mail to your SMTP relay as fast as it can. One mail message every 20 seconds does not seem correct, I have my server set to 1 tick and its fast. I would start trouble-shooting processes on the NT Server and check the traffic load the mail server. You might try increasing the number of incoming connections your mail software uses (I do not know if that is even an option).If your mail server and web server are one and the same, do a [writefile] into the folder that the mail server uses to send in the SMTP format. This bypasses the webcatalog SMTP relay stuff.James Howarth ********************************** Smith Micro, Internet Solutions Div | eCommerce (WebCatalog) 16855 West Bernardo Drive | Software & Site Development Suite 380 | San Diego, CA 92127 | 858.675.1106 | http://www.smithmicro.com/isd 858.675.0372 (fax)-----Original Message----- From: WebCatalog Talk [mailto:WebDNA-Talk@talk.smithmicro.com]On Behalf Of Bob Minor Sent: Thursday, June 08, 2000 1:37 PM To: WebCatalog Talk Subject: Slow NT mail. I have the ticks set to 1 and yet it seems that webcat only sends the mail every 20 seconds. We have a high speed dual processor Solaris machine handling the mail and only the mail so I know the server can take it. How can I get webcatalog to dish it out, or do I need to install another more efficient mail program on this server just to handle the outgoing mail?Robert Minor Director of Internet Services ------------------------------------------------------------ Cybermill Communications http://www.cybermill.com http://www.merchantmaker.comProviding Ecommerce and interactive website development and hosting services on Macintosh, Windows NT, Unix, and AS/400. ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
