texte = I see from the users.db that the creators of webcat did not have a problem allowing encrypted strings (in all their 8-bit glory) to be appended to db fields. SO maybe I should just ignore my inner voice when it says- You should be [url]ing that stuff *twice* so the 8-bit chars get converted to more friendly-looking hexadecimal versions before [append]ing to your own customUsers.db. ?Is ANYONE out there storing encrypted passwords in a db? Someone MUST be doing that successfully for a while now... ...and are you letting them store with 8-bit chars?
