I likes it![!] ThisURL on unix displays the entire path from root like (/Local/LIbrary/WebServer/WebSites/mywebsite.com/admin/yourpage.tpl), to get around this we use this routine, it gets the entries after the variable 'rootkiller' delimited by the / and joins them together for a real this url instead you would get(mywebsite.com/admin/yourpage.tpl). Drop it in your globals folder and wherever you need it just included it. You can adapt this to handle more or less folders. This was built for MacOSX so if your using Linux you may want to set the rootkiller variable to something else or if you want to use it for eliminating other folders names, just change the root killer variable to the folder you want to eliminate, everything prior to the rootkiller variable will be dropped.By Robert Minor Cybermill CommunicationsThis snippet is free if you retain this note.[/!][text]rootkiller=WebSites[/text][math show=f]tp_skip=0&tp_count=0[/math] [ListWords words=[thisurl]&delimiters=/] [showif [word]^[rootkiller]][math show=f]tp_count2=[index]+1[/math][/showif] [math show=f]tp_count=[index][/math] [text secure=f]thispage[index]=[word][/text] [/ListWords] [text secure=f]thispage=[loop start=[tp_count2]&end=[tp_count]][hideif [index]=[tp_count2]]/[/hideif][interpret][thispage[index]][/interpret][/loop ][/text]thisurl = [thispage] ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
