texte = Vincent I just went thru a long-winded serious of posts on setting username / password via constructing dynamic URLs that use for starters: http://[URL][var1][/URL]:[URL][var2][/URL]@domain.com/somePage.tmplIf you check the recent archives you can get lots of insights/tips/explanationBasically: to get new values into the username / password slots in the remote browser's cache you either have to pop the authenticate dialog (see [authenticate] docs) (and the user must input valid values - ie ones that cause the [authenticate] to no longer show - or else the values will not stick), or else you have to use a neat trick Brice ____ posted a while ago - which is reposted in my recent posts. (uses an URL like above). In the latter case it still holds true that the values must get thru an [authenticate] that shows only when username / password values are not valid. If there is no [authenticate] present then the username / password values will not get overwritten. Also note that w/ wc4 , you have to name your form inputs something other than username & password since [username] & [password] can no longer pick up values from formvars in wc4. Also note that IE5/Mac always works w/Brice's trick. NN 4.7/Mac works the first time you set username / password, but after that I was not sure the username / password values could be overwritten..
