(I want to require both criteria.) I want to to find records that were just appended within the last 45 seconds of the time when the [search] gets evaluated, and have the same IPaddress of the user. My question is where do I stick the rq? And do I use them on both the cl-statments?i.e. do I use this- &eqHisIPaddressdatarq=[IPADDRESS]&clTimeLoggedindatarq=[math]{[time]}[/math]&clTimeLoggedindatarq=45?or this- &eqHisIPaddressdatarq=[IPADDRESS]&clTimeLoggedindatarq=[math]{[time]}[/math]&clTimeLoggedindata=45?or this- &eqHisIPaddressdatarq=[IPADDRESS]&clTimeLoggedindata=[math]{[time]}[/math]&clTimeLoggedindatarq=45?or this- &eqHisIPaddressdatarq=[IPADDRESS]&clTimeLoggedindata=[math]{[time]}[/math]&clTimeLoggedindata=45?...in the [search]?-JohnPS - James - thanks for the previous response. In my case I want to prevent multiple attempts even when neither of username nor password has been input correctly... so I can't block an account in any way I can think of. I mean if I knew the account of the attempter, then that means he is in and I wouldn't need to block him in the first place! (I wasn't sure what you meant if different.) So if I block by exact IP (and expire those blocks after awhile) then the hacker would have to keep getting on and off his dialup account to get around the blocks, or else wait my chosen expiration time (like 24 hours) - both of which slow him down enough to discourage hack attempts I think... Any further feedback is welcome! ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
