texte = I'm planning to try my first store using WebCatalog, and have read through the User Guide and tutorial provided by Smith Micro. From everything I saw the TeaRoom demo is very close to what I'm looking for (a simple store that I can build on in the future), so I'm curious if I can just copy that source and modify it for use with my own graphics and design.Obvious questions come up about the database being used behind the TeaRoom. When I use the StoreBuilder it generates a lot of .db files that I don't see in the TeaRoom example, particularly the customer database, which seems to be missing from the TeaRoom example. Also, how would/could I modify or expand on the database structure of that site? Should I use StoreBuilder, and if so, how do I tell it about my new site.Is it a bad idea to start with the TeaRoom example? Should I just take the output from the StoreBuilder and work with that instead? I like the idea of using TeaRoom if possible, mostly because it's a lot simpler than the files created from StoreBuilder. Of course there might be a reason for that...Anyway, can anyone comment/make fun of me for this approach? Also, is there an independent faq for WebCatalog, or a getting started site that I should read through also? The tutorial was alright, but left me with a lot of unanswered questions about what's going on behind the scenes with WebCatalog. Thanks, philz-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
