texte = hmm, I just don't think the mac is the problem. Unix is multi-tasking which, yea, it won't crash the system only the offending app. Sounds more user related to me.... Our Mac server has ran steadily for years. (absolutely no downtime as long as I've been adminstrator) granted it is not running WebCat (the one I'm referring to) but to make a statement like these just aren't built to be servers is just funny to me seeing how the Apple servers we've had have the best track records. (This includes a Solarus machine, SGI machine, and two NT's.) The only box that perhaps has ran longer without insident is our Linux firewall. I would say Serve in an environment you can back up with knowledgable support because anyone of these environments will work when set up correctly.my 2 cents. Jason Halla wrote:> Hi.
