texte = since browser windows can be any size or shape.. what i would do is save the image at an average size resolution (600x800 is the designers average resolution, but i usually go for 1024x768) and then use javascript to find the inner width and inner height of the window and give the background image those properties..these properties are available in javascript 1.2 and higher that might be usefulinnerHeight, innerWidth, outerHeight, outerWidththese are the dimentions of your window, however, these are not available in Internet Explorer 4.0 and you may have to either A. scrap this idea, or B. write a supplementary script for IE 4. i personnally wouldnt worry about it because IE 4.0 wouldnt support most of your CSS stuff either.but anyway.. if you use these properties, you can determine the size of your image and scale it correctly. it may be stretched if its a higher resolution than 1024x768 (if you go with the one image one resolution deal) but it should look fine in 600x800 (the designers average)hope this helps-- celesteKelly Wiseman wrote:> Hey everybody.
