texte = this might be what I am looking forArt,Here is what I'm planning on implementing on one of my sites. Inother words it hasn't been completely thought out yet:I'm going to use the [protect secureGroup] tag on all of my protected pages. My login page will check the username and password submitted by theuser. If they match then I'll do a replace on my user.db and add agroup, secureGroup, to the user.** If they match to what? Then on my logout page I'll simply remove the secureGroup from theirrecord and thus locking them out of the protected pages until theylogin again. My noaccess page will redirect to my login page.** this wont be nessesary in this site, but I can see the usefulness ofchecking for for idle time.I'm even going to setup a trigger that will remove the group fromtheir record after so much idle time. This is where I need to thinkit through more. But it should be fairly straightforward. On everypage hit do a replace that updates the logout time in the trigger.Hope that helps.p.s. This scheme takes the authentication power away from the browserand puts it back where it belongs, the server.--Sam LewisSamLewis.comTel: 626-852-0956 Fax: 916-404-5698-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
