This limits the number of buttons that show to 1. If you had your buttons in a table, it may be that so many buttons was confusing your browser. For example, I use code like this: [ShowNext position=begin&method=post&max=1]
[searchstring]
[/ShowNext] [ShowNext position=end&method=post&max=1]
[searchstring]
[/ShowNext]These show a button image for Previous (if you are already at the first record, there is no Previous button) and Next (likewise for the last record). I think the simplicity of this code demonstrates the awesome power of [shownext] to easily create the form parameters to perform the appropriate search.NOTE: this max parameter has nothing to do with the max parameter of the original search, nor does it have anything to do with the Maximum Found Items parameter in Preferences.HTHJohn-- John Peacock Director of Information Research and Technology Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Group 4720 Boston Way Lanham, MD 20706 301-459-3366 x.5010 fax 301-429-5747------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
