texte = Prepare for the flame mail from the list on this - there are firm believers on the list that Webcatalog should not be used for this .. I on the contrary think it works great and use it in exactly that way at the moment.Things to consider:Do not base your code on [Sendmail] & Emailer, it is to slow.Use a more robust mail package and delivery mechanism - I just did this on my OSX server and the performance increase is amazing, last week I sent an email to 4800 recipients. Writing the email in webcatalog and processing the email with Communigate Pro took 7 minutes total .. Compare this to when I used Sendmail and it took hours.Remember the bandwidth, my email was 46Mb of data to send and being an HTML email generated 170Mb within the next few hours .. Make sure you are on a big pipe as this will kill an average connection.Ignore the critics, it does work.Apart from that Go for gold, it works and is fast.
