My client has asked us to use their WebCat solution and maintain a db of sound links. As they are on broadband, they want custom greetings (changes by hour / visit / etc) and alerts to enhance the shopping experience. That is the easy part ....The problem is the sound files. I am looking for a way to record the speech as generated by the Mac voices when playing back in Simple Text. Bascially, I type the message to be recorded using Simple Text ... Play it using one of the voices .... Then ... I need to save that sound byte to a file as it plays.Any ideas anyone of a software that can do just that ... Play, record and save a typed message as a sound file. Or is there a better way to go at this. Any pointers is much appreciated.Terry D.
