texte = Hi all,This is kinda off topic but I need some words of wisdom from folks who havedone this before. My client has asked us to use their WebCat solution andmaintain a db of sound links. As they are on broadband, they want custom greetings (changes by hour /visit / etc) and alerts to enhance the shopping experience. That is the easypart ....The problem is the sound files. I am looking for a way to record the speechas generated by the Mac voices when playing back in Simple Text. Bascially,I type the message to be recorded using Simple Text ... Play it using one ofthe voices .... Then ... I need to save that sound byte to a file as itplays.Any ideas anyone of a software that can do just that ... Play, record andsave a typed message as a sound file. Or is there a better way to go atthis. Any pointers is much appreciated.Terry D.
