I never realised that I then had to do further configuration in order to get it working. We have just switched from shared hosting to a dedicated server which I am having to learn to use as I go along so I'd like to apologise for any lack of knowledge on my front before I go any further.I have read the INSTALL file that was in the folder that was unpacked but I'm afraid I am slightly confused and hoped someone may be able to advise me on a couple of things. In order to use the install_WebDNA.sh file I need to know what my Apache Document Root is...Would this be something like /home/domain/domain1/web (which is the path to my web space)?I would have had a go at installing it manually but I would have to say that I am not 100% confident in the httpd.conf file, although I did have to go in and alter a couple of things to get our current site working.Sorry... One more thing...How do I run the install_WebDNA.sh file from the root folder?would it be something like... (from the /root folder)/home/domain/domain1/web/WebDNA-4.5.0/ install_WebDNA.shHope someone can help me get this off the ground...Kind Regards Alan on 30/7/02 11:28 am, Alain Russell at alain.russell@blackpepper.co.nz wrote:> The WebDNA ftp site has RPM install directories with readmes in them .. > did you try and do theinstall that way first ?? > > Which linux are you running .. ? > The Redhat 7 RPM install is here .. > ftp://ftp.isd.smithmicro.com/WebDNA/UNIX/linux_intel/Redhat%207.x/RPMInstall/ > > Follow the readme and all should be good. > >> P.S.
