texte = OK, I wanna know the details of the Xserve that got a result in the 220's...We just lit our new Xserve (dual 1Ghz, 60GB HD, 2GB ram) I ran all the updates, and installed webcat. Then ran the speed test, and the best result I've gotten is in the mid 360'sSo what's the deal? Is the faster one running a striped raid, or might I have marginal ram? Or did you test with GigE?? Would the owner of that test result please stand up and let me know what services you turned off, or what magic voodoo you did to get that time? :)Also, there is what I believe to be a flaw in the test, but I could be wrong. There's a lot of data in the HTML. Does the last elapsed time happen _before_ the page starts to be sent, or does webcat begin sending data before it finishes the calculation of the time (in which case browser and network diffs would be huge) ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
