texte = Define classes & functions, utilize multi-dimensional arrays, regular expressions, variable concatenation, etc. The real advantage lies in the use of the mySQL database because with mySQL, YOU DON'T LOSE DATA WHEN WEBCATALOG CRASHES!! In my experience, when (not if) WebCatalog crashes, data can be lost/corrupted because WebCatalog has not/can not write it to disk in time.PHP & mySQL are extremely robust and stable. It took me several years to finally get off of my WebCatalog is the greatest stuff since sliced bread rant and go with the PHP/mySQL combination and I'm soooooo happy I finally did. There's one other advantage. THEY'RE FREE and they ACTUALLY WORK!Working with WebCatalog was a demoralizing experience! I still love monitoring the list though.
