I don't know if there is a speed difference in doing so. But I like the idea of writing files to a MTA that does the rest, instead of relying on Emailer and all the mail files that are building up. I am sending quite a bit of mail. All the artists at http://www.localsonline.com/ that have mailing lists are using a simple template to send messages to their lists. Yes, I'm aware that a list server would do the job nicely. Eventually, I may find the time to mess with setting one up. These artists don't pay for the service, so I'm not going to burn up my CGP lists for them. Prior to going to OSX, SIMS and the [sendmail] context did the job beautifully. I was hoping to get back to that place, that peaceful place, where it worked well and I didn't have to spend time messing with it :) Ha!Mike ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
