texte = Hi Brian,Yes, I've been using one of those OCR programs (TypeReader), but it enables me only to extract text parts from TIFs, not images. For instance, I have a graphical scheme of some tube saved as .tif. The tube's image accompanied by letters A,B,C,D. I was able to convert it to a .txt file, but only these letters were saved -not an image of the tube itself. Well, maybe I need to play more with TypeReader's settings, although I've already spent enough time doing that.Anyway, thank you for the tip.regards, Oleg----- Original Message ----- From: Brian Fries To: WebCatalog Talk Sent: Tuesday, November 05, 2002 12:58 AM Subject: Re: OT: How to convert TIFs into HTML or ASCII format? > You want to extract the text and sub-images from a larger image?
