If you have anumber of people coming in at once, they may get a server busy messagewhich would look pretty poor. At my other work site, we run a G3 server with200Mb RAM allocated to WebStar/WebCatalog and I've set the Max Connectionsto 200. The most it's ever got up to is about 100.Also, if you have the RAM I can't see any good reason for not upping thecache size and the file size. Again this could depend on how often thestatic files are changed and whether you have other people using the servervia FTP apart from you who want to see their docs update more quickly. Ifit's just you and you are physically next to the server, then use WebStar'sFlush Cache command and have higher cache and autoflush values.Regards,Tim-- Tim RobinsonIDFK Web Developmentstim@idfk.com.au114a/40 Yeo StreetNeutral Bay 2089AustraliaPhone +612 9908 2134Fax +612 9908 4837> From: Kenneth Grome
