The tar gets made in the correct location, but is created with the following folder structure: a folder called .. with a folder called outgoing inside it. inside that is where the tarred files are.I've tried removing the ../ in both instances within the tar command... but then the file gets made in the wrong location.CODE: [Shell]mkdir ../outgoing/[header21][/shell] [shell][lineitems][hideif [sku]^publications]cp -r /Applications/4DWebStar/WebServer/retail/mac/[grep search= &replace=_][sku][/grep].sit /Applications/4DWebStar/WebServer/FontBureau/outgoing/[header21]/[grep search= &replace=_][sku][/grep].sit;[/hideif][/lineitems][/shell] [shell]tar -cf - ../outgoing/[header21]|gzip> ../outgoing/[header21].tar.gz[/shell]All [shell] commands are actually on one line.please help, I'm brand new to UNIX.
