texte = BACKGROUND:I have a non-profit client that wants to automate their scholarship application program. The problem is they have an Executive Directory in Maine who needs to determine the applicant's eligibility and maintain data on the program, a financial analyst, who determines need, in New Jersey, and a board, that makes selections and final awards, that is scattered around the country. In addition, they are each using different operating systems. Finally, they are concerned about maintaining the privacy of the applicants' personal and financial information.I maintain their web site for them in Cincinnati at a local ISP. I set their Country Store up using WebCatalog 3, but I'm moving their site to a secure server with WebCatalog 4. I have their password protected Members Only page on the secure server with WebCatalog 4.I proposed having the applicants contact the Executive Director for a PIN. Then use the PIN to access a secure application form. All the folks involved in the approval process would then access the applicants data through another password protected page. That way the whole process gets done online and no information leaves the secure server. Unfortunately, several of the folks involved in the approval process need the data downloaded to their computers. [Why can't these people work with me? :]QUESTION:In digging through the WebDNA-Talk archive I found a reference to PCS Decrypt. I downloaded version 1.0 from the Smithmicro page, but I can't get it to work using Eudora 5.2 with Mac OS 10.2. The ability to send an encrypted email from WebCatalog and have these guys decrypt those emails seems the perfect answer to my problem...if it just worked. Can anyone help me with this? Or, can anyone suggest an alternate solution? Thanks & HNY, Lurch Webmaster and Virtual Barkeep Emeritus... ...Lover of fine whisky, fast women, and faster airplanes... ...not necessarily in that order :P ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
