People on this list have other jobs to do; they respond to questions for various reasons: because they love the language and remember being new themselves, an obsessive need to demonstrate their knowledge, or just because they are bored. SMSI monitors this list, but does not control it or answer every help request. This is a user supported forum. As such, you need to realize that either no one _can_ help you if you don't get a response in a reasonable time (24 hours is not out of bounds), or possibly even that no one _wants_ to help you because you are clearly out of your depth. I don't think that (not enough information yet ;~), but your repeated postings are not hopeful signs. Now, as to your actual error message, you need to give us a lot more information before anyone can give you any help. If I remember from your earlier postings, you are running FreeBSD and installed using the script installation. Can you successfully access any portion of the TeaRoom example site? I have a suspicion that your installation was not sucessful and hence the WebCat handler for tpl files is not active. It is not likely that you have any permissions issue at all. Normally, you _shouldn't_ have any access to files that are not marked executable inside a cgi-bin directory. It is only through theYou should examine your Apache log files and make sure that the WebCat plugin for Apache loaded without errors. You should then confirm that the TeaRoom example site functions correctly. It may be that your installation of Apache is non-standard and the changes the installation script made were to an inactive configuration file.HTHJohnp.s. the default permissions for WebCat as installed are correct; all you need to do is look at the demo site for the correct rights-- John Peacock Director of Information Research and Technology Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Group 4501 Forbes Boulevard Suite H Lanham, MD 20706 301-459-3366 x.5010 fax 301-429-5748 ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
