Actually, this would be pretty nice, if merged with the http server for viewing the page as it would actually be parsed on a real server for development purposes. Nothing you can't do already, but what if the Studio would show you hierarchical trees for your site under development, a sitemap with file dependencies. An information screen would show you what databases a template uses and the location of the database (globals, root directory of the site, etc) and the code from includes that are on the page:---------------------------------- [!]From header.inc[/!] some html code, or whatever is in your header.inc. [!]End include, header.inc[/!]Rest of the code from the parent page..... ----------------------------------And of course the Studio would have full debugging features, showing runtime errors, & database field naming inconsistencies, etc.Better stop it now, I'm liable to give myself a headache....GK----- Original Message ----- From: Kenneth Grome To: WebDNA Talk Sent: Tuesday, February 11, 2003 8:28 PM Subject: Runtime version ... > >This means they may be getting serious about expanding their sales > >by seeding developers with free software - so they have no reason > >not to try it.
