I've asked about it on the list in the last couple of months, and was wondering if you had picked it up and put it on the bug fix list. John P. suggested a workaround of accessing tables through the globals folder, possibly with a symbolic link, which should work, but I haven't tried yet. I'd much rather you fix the bug. It's a dangerous one. It's very very possible to lose data through an accident (opening the same table both ways) or a bug that gets you to a page through the wrong base URL.This problem does not occur with 4.5 on NT or 4.02 on OS9 (the other two platforms I work with).I don't know about the absolute-relative path variation of the problem, as I don't think I have anything that would show that up.Velma----------------------------------------Velma KahnGlory Day Software Company200 Tanager Ln NW, Floyd, Virginia 24091, U.S.A.phone: 540-745-6469 * fax: 651-321-4884email: vkahn@glorydaysoftware.comhttp://www.glorydaysoftware.comhttp://www.communitymade.comhttp://www.floydcrafts.com-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
