texte = Hello, Me confused....I am retrieving info via [tcpsend] and then saving some of this info to a database.I am then doing a search based off of that same info (on another occassion) and am not finding the match.I opened up the database to look at what was being stored in those fields. The data is being stored successfully however there is also the BBedit (upside down question mark) which I think is a return character? (%0B). I think I can get rid of the upside down ? character by doing either a convertchar - %0B to %0A db or using [input] but how would this effect my later search results? My matches have to be exact.would I have to do a search using whatever conversion I used ([convertchars db=] for example)?[search db=some.db&eqTHEFIEDdatarq=[convertchars db=][thevar][/convertchars]....Or...??Thanks, DonovanP.S. Here is an example of the code[tcpconnect...] [text]thevar=[tcpsend end=%0A%0D]SomeCommand[url]%0A%0D[/unurl][/tcpsend][/text] [/tcpconnect][append db=thedb.db]FIELD=[url][thevar][/url][/append][tcpconnect...] [text]the_search_var=[tcpsend end=%0A%0D]SomeCommand[url]%0A%0D[/unurl][/tcpsend][/text] [/tcpconnect][search db=thedb.db&eqFIELDdatarq=[url][the_search_var][/url]] [founditems] [/founditems] [/search] Nothing is found :-(thx, Donovan-- * * |\ /| |/========================================\| ||---------* DONOVAN D.
